Pioneering Defence Sovereignty: Mindmatics Signs Strategic Partnerships at IDEF 2025

Istanbul, Türkiye – 23rd July 2025. Mindmatics Sdn. Bhd., Malaysia’s forefront specialist in Defence Electronic Systems (DES) has reinforced its international defence partnerships by formalising three strategic Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with Aselsan(Türkiye), The Coder (South Korea) and IT Specialist (Ukraine) at the 17th International Defence Industry Fair (IDEF 2025).

These agreements represent a significant milestone in advancing Malaysia’s defence technology ecosystem through international collaboration and innovation. Each partnership is focused on address critical domains of modern warfare and national security:

• Aselsan (Türkiye): Strategic collaboration in the field of integrated defence electronics, communication systems, and advanced tactical solutions, aimed at boosting Malaysia’s self-reliance in high-technology defence platforms.

• The Coder (South Korea): Strategic collaboration in marketing and distribution of Mindmatics’ Electronic Warfare (EW) solutions, with a focus on the Passive ELINT System (TEDUNG) and the Anti-Drone System (MANTIS) across the Indo-Pacific region.

• IT Specialist: Partnership on integrated cyber defence solutions, encompassing real-time threat monitoring and intelligence sharing, strengthening Malaysia’s cyber resilience, supporting the National Defence Industry Policy, and fostering high-impact technology investments alongside the growth of local industries

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Abdul Wahab Sulaiman, Director of Mindmatics Sdn. Bhd., emphasised that the partnerships reflect Malaysia’s vision outlined in the Defence White Paper, with a focus on technological sovereignty, cyber resilience, and operational readiness in multi-domain warfare.
